Second Annual Silicon Valley Tanabata 2011 - Festival of Hope - presented by SunBridge is the premier event connecting entrepreneurial Japanese individuals and companies with Silicon Valley influencers, including start-ups, venture capitalists, universities, government and business leaders. It will provide a blend of startup pitches, presentation sessions, and plenty of networking opportunities in an interactive, intimate and relaxed atmosphere at Plug and Play Tech Center, Sunnyvale. Expect 500+ participants - 250 each from the Japanese and Silicon Valley communities - in 2011.

JANNOVATION (= Japanese + Innovation), as a part of Tanabata 2011, is a week long celebration of Japanese entrepreneurship and innovation in Silicon Valley. It begins with a week long program of interaction and education with leading Silicon Valley startups, VCs, incubators and educators (Jannovation Week) and ends with an afternoon pitching jam session on August 5th (Jannovation Jam).　＞＞learn more
